This concludes years of work by our team and months of beta-testing from our enthusiastic community. We can’t thank you all enough for your patience, passion, and participation in numerous beta tests and for your overall love for these games!

Today’s patch adds chromebook support and all improvements from the PC 2.6 patch, including tons of fixes, new voice sets, portraits and localizations. Check out the patch notes below!

• All PC 2.6 Patch improvements are now available on Android | The Android 2.6 Patch includes fixes from the PC 2.6 and 2.6.6 Patches, including new localizations:
  • 7 New Character Voice Sets | New player voice sets, including two from the legendary Mark Meer reprising his roles as Alveus Malcanter and Baeloth Barrityl
  • 11 New Character Portraits | New character portraits to customize your hero’s look
  • Improved Pathfinding | Smoother party movement and navigation
  • New Localizations
    • Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition | Added French text localization (beta)
    • Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear | Added French (beta), Italian, German, Ukrainian and Polish text localizations
    • Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition | Added Brazilian Portuguese and Chinese (Simplified) text localizations
• Android 11 & 12 | Added support for Android 11 and 12. No more of “This app was built for an older version of Android” screens
• Importing save games now works | You can import your character from Baldur's Gate I to Siege of Dragonspear, and then to Baldur’s Gate II without issues
• Chromebook support | Added official support for Chromebooks
• External keyboards | Improved support for external keyboards
• Hotkey support | Added hotkey support for chat in Multiplayer
• Copy/Paste menu | Added right-click support for the Copy/Paste menu
• Split-screen mode | Enabled support for split-screen mode on Chromebook and tablets
• Notifications | Added notifications for Wi-Fi disconnects in Multiplayer
• Play the games you own without issues | The “Download failed because you may not have purchased this app” error should now be fixed
• Fixes to the World Map | Crash fixes and performance improvements
• Cutscene NPCs are no longer unkillable | Made a fix to NPC resistances, e.g., Sanik not being killed in a cutscene

• Fix to Enter Name text appearing in the Biography screen during Character Creation
• Fix to the screen shifting on devices when selecting text in text boxes
• Fix to keyboard shortcuts breaking after highlighting text
• Fix to the screen shifting when the Android keyboard opens
• Fix to a crash when scrolling through text
• Fixed an issue where Copy was not working
• Fixed an issue where text selection was not working properly
